Solution

Let A = 6x and B = 5x. Then C = 2B - 5 = 10x - 5. Since the difference between C and A is 11, we get \((10x-5) - 6x = 11\), so \(4x=16\) and \(x=4\). Therefore, A = 6x = 24 years.
