ExamsIBPS POReasoning

A vehicle starts from point P and runs 10 km towards north. It takes a right turn and runs 15 km. Then it runs 6 km after taking a left turn. Finally, it takes a left turn, runs 15 km, and stops at point Q. In which direction was the vehicle moving just before it stopped at point Q?

  1. North
  2. East
  3. South
  4. West

Correct answer: South

Solution

Starting north, a right turn makes the vehicle face east. A left turn from east makes it face north. Another left turn from north makes it face west, so it was moving west just before stopping at Q.
