Seven persons namely A, B, C, D, E, F and G are standing at certain distances from each other. - B is 11 meters north of C. - A is 12 meters west of B. - D is 20 meters south of E. - C is 20 meters west of D. - G is 3 meters north of F, who is 27 meters west of E. In which direction is A with respect to G?

Solution
Using coordinates, let E be a reference point. Then F is 27 m west of E and G is 3 m north of F. Also, D is 20 m south of E, C is 20 m west of D, B is 11 m north of C, and A is 12 m west of B. This places A to the north-east of G.
