Original: 9(1),6(2),5(3),7(4),1(5),5(6),3(7),4(8),2(9),8(10). Swap pairs: pos(1,2)→6,9; pos(3,4)→7,5; pos(5,6)→5,1; pos(7,8)→4,3; pos(9,10)→8,2. New arrangement: 6,9,7,5,5,1,4,3,8,2. 5th from left = 5 (at position 5). 2nd to left of position 5 = position 3 = 7.
