Solution

Rajat saves $\frac{3}{11}$ of ₹55,000 = ₹15,000, so his expenditure is ₹40,000. Sameer saves $\frac{2}{5}$ of ₹40,000 = ₹16,000, so his expenditure is ₹24,000. The required percentage is $\frac{24,000}{40,000} \times 100 = 60\%$.
