Given: Electric field (E) = 500 V/m and potential difference (V) = 3000 V. We know that electric field (E) = V/d. Find the distance (d) between point charge and A.
- 6 m
- 5 m
- 4 m
- 3 m
Correct answer: 5 m
Solution
Using the formula E = V/d, rearrange to find d = V/E. Substituting V = 3000 V and E = 500 V/m, we get d = 3000/500 = 6 m.
