Seven persons P, Q, R, S, T, U and V of different ages, 6, 15, 19, 23, 30, 45 and 60 years, are sitting around a circular table facing the center. Note: No two consecutive letters are in alphabetical order. A person's age must not be a factor or a multiple of the sum of the ages of their immediate neighbors. R sits immediate right of the person whose age is 15. One person sits between T and R (either to the left or right). One person sits between P and the person whose age is 6 (either to the left or right). The age of T is twice the age of the person who sits second to the right of T. The difference between the ages of the immediate neighbors of V is more than 14. The age of U must not be a multiple of 10. The sum of the ages of the immediate neighbors of R is 34. Q is younger than P. What is the age of Q?
- 15
- 60
- 23
- None of these
Correct answer: None of these
Solution
The constraints on R's neighbors and T's relative position tightly determine the seating and age assignment. After satisfying all adjacency and age conditions, Q's age is not among 15, 60, or 23. Hence the correct option is 'None of these'.

- Eight people — M, N, O, P, Q, R, S and T — are sitting around a circular table. They hold different posts: Manager, Company Secretary, Chairman, President, Group Leader, Financial Advisor, Vice President and Managing Director. The Managing Director sits third to the right of S. O is an immediate neighbour of S. The Chairman sits second to the right of O. N sits third to the right of T. T is neither the Managing Director nor the Chairman. Two people sit between P and the Company Secretary. P is not the Managing Director. The President is not an immediate neighbour of the Managing Director. - Eight persons R@, R#, R, R&, R%, R*, R© and RΩ are sitting around a hollow circular table such that R&, R, R#, and RQ sit on the inner side of the table and the rest are sitting on the outer side of the circular table. They all are facing away from the center. The persons sitting on the inner side of the circular table are sitting just behind the persons sitting on the outer side of the circular table, and all are graduated from different universities, namely HTS, UGI, LPU, HNB, KPJ, UPI, NIT and FPT. All the information is not necessarily in the same order. The one who is graduated from KPJ sits just behind the one who sits second to the left of the one who is graduated from UPI. RΩ sits just behind R*. R%, who is graduated from UGI, sits opposite the one who sits at the immediate left of R©. R& is not graduated from FPT. The one who is graduated from HTS sits at the immediate left of the one who is graduated from LPU. The one who is graduated from KPJ sits just behind R@. RΩ sits at the immediate right of R&. The persons who are graduated from FPT and HNB are sitting on the same table and sit opposite to each other. R& sits just behind the one who is graduated from UGI. R is not graduated from FPT. Who among the following is sitting third to the right of the one who is sitting just behind R©?
- Nine persons K, J, Y, R, D, L, X, P and S sit around a circular table but not necessarily in the same order. All of them are facing away from the centre of the table. K sits 3rd to the left of J. One person sits between K and Y. Two persons sit between K and L. D sits immediately to the right of R, and both of them are not adjacent to L. At least three persons sit between P and Y, whether counted from the left or the right. Y is not adjacent to S. - Passage: Eight persons A, B, C, D, M, N, O, and P are sitting around a circular table but not necessarily in the same order. Five of them are facing the center and the rest are facing away from the center. Consecutive alphabetical persons are not sitting next to each other. O sits second to the right of B. C sits third to the right of O. Three persons sit between C and D. D sits second to the left of A. M is facing away from the center. P sits immediately to the right of N. P and A are facing opposite directions. Immediate neighbors of P are facing the same direction. The one who sits second to the left of P is facing away from the center. - Eight persons namely A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H are sitting around a circular table, some of them facing outside and some facing inside the circular table. Note: No two persons facing the same direction sit together. A sits second to the right of B, who is an immediate neighbor of C. D is an immediate neighbor of E, who sits opposite B. H does not face outside the circle. D is neither an immediate neighbor of A nor sits opposite C. The number of persons sitting between C and G is one less than the number of persons sitting between F and C when counted from the right and left of C respectively. C is not an immediate neighbor of F. Find the odd one out.
