Solution

Let A=a, B=a+6. 1/a+1/(a+6)=1/4 → 4(2a+6)=a(a+6) → a²-2a-24=0 → (a-6)(a+4)=0 → a=6. B=12. C is 50% more efficient than B: C's time=12/1.5=8 days.
