Correct answer: 12.50% more

Solution

In the first alloy, copper is 40% and aluminium is 60%. In the second alloy, copper is 2/9 and zinc is 7/9. After mixing in the ratio 5:3, the final aluminium amount is greater than copper by 12.5%.
