Solution

A and B together do $\frac{1}{6}+\frac{1}{8}=\frac{7}{24}$ of the work per day, so in 3 days they do $\frac{7}{8}$. Thus C does the remaining $\frac{1}{8}$ of the work. C's payment is therefore $\frac{1}{8}\times 3200=400$.
