If 30% of A = 0.25 of B = \(\frac{1}{5}\) of C, then what is A : B : C?

Correct answer: 10: 12: 15

Solution

Let the common value be x. Then 30% of A = x gives A = 10x/3, 0.25 of B = x gives B = 4x, and \(\frac{1}{5}\) of C = x gives C = 5x. Thus A : B : C = 10 : 12 : 15.
