The area of a right triangle is 150 cm2 and the ratio of its sides is 3 : 4 : 5. What is the perimeter of the triangle?

Solution

With sides 3k, 4k, 5k: Area = 6k2 = 150 → k = 5. Sides = 15, 20, 25. Perimeter = 15+20+25 = 60 cm.
