Solution

Price per kg: Rs.250/5 = Rs.50 and Rs.280/5 = Rs.56. Weighted average = (7x50 + 8x56)/15 = (350 + 448)/15 = 798/15 = Rs.53.20. So the mixture costs Rs.53.20 per kg.
