Priya's monthly salary is Rs 50,000 and her monthly expenditure is Rs 18,000. Rohit's monthly salary is Rs 60,000 and his monthly expenditure is Rs 24,000. What is the ratio of Rohit's savings to Priya's savings?

Solution

Priya's savings = 50000-18000 = 32000; Rohit's savings = 60000-24000 = 36000. Ratio = 36000:32000 = 9:8.
