If 1 g of steam is mixed with 1 g of ice, then the resultant temperature of the mixture is

Solution

When 1 g of steam at 100°C condenses, it releases latent heat, which is used to melt the 1 g of ice at 0°C. The remaining heat raises the temperature of the resulting water to 100°C. Thus, the final temperature of the mixture is 100°C.
