ExamsIBPS POReasoning

Directions: In each of the following questions, assuming the given statements to be true, find which of the conclusions among the given conclusions is/are definitely true and then answer accordingly. Statements: A < B \ge C; D > E > A; C = F > G Conclusions: I. D > C II. B > G

  1. Only II is True
  2. Only I is True
  3. Both I and II are True
  4. None is true

Correct answer: Only II is True

Solution

From A < B and B \ge C, we only know B is at least C, while D > E > A gives no definite relation between D and C. Also, C = F > G implies C > G, so B \ge C > G, hence B > G is definitely true. Therefore only conclusion II follows.
