In the following questions, the relationship between different elements is shown in the statements. The statements are followed by conclusions. Study the conclusions based on the given statements and select the appropriate answer: Statements: B < K = F ≥ J; N ≤ D > K Conclusions: I. J < D II. D ≥ F
- If only conclusion I is true
- If only conclusion II is true
- If either conclusion I or II is true
- If both conclusions I and II are true
Correct answer: If only conclusion I is true
Solution
From B < K = F ≥ J, we get F ≥ J. From N ≤ D > K and K = F, we know D > F, so D ≥ F is definitely true. Also, since F ≥ J, we cannot निश्चितly say J < D? Actually D > F ≥ J implies D > J, so J < D is also true. Hence both conclusions are true.
