ExamsIBPS POReasoning

There are seven persons A, B, C, D, E, F and G. Each of them has a different height. B is taller than A and E but not the tallest. F is taller than only G. An equal number of persons are shorter than and taller than C. How many persons are between F and A when counted from the left of F?

  1. Five
  2. One
  3. Four
  4. Two

Correct answer: Two

Solution

Since equal numbers are taller and shorter than C, C must be the middle person in the height order, i.e. 4th. F is taller than only G, so F is 6th and G is 7th. Using B taller than A and E but not tallest, the remaining order places A and F such that there are two persons between them when counted from the left of F.
