Solution

SP=₹3500, discount=12.5%. SP=MP×(1-0.125)=0.875MP → MP=4000. Markup=₹1500 → CP=4000-1500=2500. Profit=3500-2500=₹1000. Profit%=1000/2500×100=40%.
