In a bank the average salary of all the Staff is ₹600. The average salary of all 12 officers is ₹4000 and the average salary of the rest Staff is ₹560. Find the number of rest of the staff in the bank.

Solution

600(12+n) = 12×4000 + 560n. 7200 + 600n = 48000 + 560n. 40n = 40800. n = 1020.
