Which of the statement(s) below is/are logically valid and can be inferred from the above sentences?
(i) Ooty is not a hill-station.
(ii) No hill-station can have more than one lake.

Solution
The statements provided do not support the conclusions drawn in either (i) or (ii). The first statement only asserts that all hill-stations have a lake, and since Ooty has two lakes, it does not imply that Ooty is not a hill-station or that hill-stations cannot have more than one lake.
