Given below are two statements and two conclusions. Statement 1: All bacteria are microorganisms. Statement 2: Some microorganisms are viruses. Conclusion I: Some viruses are bacteria. Conclusion II: Some microorganisms are bacteria.

Correct answer: Neither conclusion I nor II follows

Solution

From the statements, bacteria are a subset of microorganisms, and some microorganisms are viruses. However, no direct overlap between bacteria and viruses is given, and existence of bacteria is not guaranteed. Therefore neither conclusion necessarily follows.
