Solution

The distance between a node and the fixed end is half the wavelength (λ/2). Thus, λ = 2 × 10 cm = 20 cm = 0.2 m. Using the wave equation v = fλ, where f = 100 Hz, we get v = 100 × 0.2 = 20 m/s.
