Solution
For a coil, the magnitude of induced emf is $e = L\,\frac{di}{dt}$. Here, $\Delta I = 4-2 = 2$ A and $\Delta t = 0.05$ s, so $\frac{di}{dt} = 40$ A/s. Thus $L = \frac{8}{40} = 0.2$ H.
