Solution
In (A) both blocks end with equal velocity (1.8 m/s) and momentum is conserved, so it is perfectly inelastic (Q). In (B) momentum is not conserved, so it is impossible (S). In (C) momentum and kinetic energy are both conserved, so it is elastic (P).
