Solution
A floating body is in equilibrium, so the buoyant force equals its weight; the buoyant force equals the weight of the displaced liquid, hence (i) is true. A fully submerged (sunk) body occupies and therefore displaces a volume of liquid exactly equal to its own volume, hence (ii) is true.
