Solution
I_d = (e0 A/d)(dV/dt). Solving for d: d = e0 A (dV/dt)/I_d = (8.85x10⁻¹²)(40x10⁻⁴)(10⁶)/(4.425x10⁻⁶) = (8.85x10⁻¹² * 4x10⁻³ * 10⁶)/(4.425x10⁻⁶) = (3.54x10⁻⁸)/(4.425x10⁻⁶) = 0.8x10⁻³ m. So x = 0.8.
