Directions (22-24): Each question consists of four statements followed by five conclusions. Consider the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts. Statements: Some pencils are kites. Some kites are desks. All desks are cup. All cup are tea. Conclusions: (a) All tea are cup is a possibility. Solution

From the statements, pencils connect to kites, and kites connect to desks, which then connect to cup and tea. But nothing forces any cup to be a pencil, so the conclusion that some cup are definitely pencils does not follow.
