ExamsIBPS POReasoning

O, P, Q, R, S, T, and U are seven different boxes, and each box has a different item, i.e. plate, scrub, umbrella, origami, can, uniform, and cup, but not necessarily in the same order. Box S and P do not have uniform. Box R is kept four boxes above box S and contains umbrella. Box U is placed at the top and contains scrub. Box P is positioned in the middle. Two boxes are placed between P and Q, which contains a cup. Origami is placed equidistant from both umbrella and plate. S and T have an even number of boxes between them. O does not contain can. T does not contain origami. If it is possible to make a meaningful word from the fourth, sixth, seventh, and eleventh letters of the word ORIENTATION, which of the following will be the last letter of the word? If no such word can be formed, mark X as the answer. If more than one word is formed, mark Y as the answer.

  1. X
  2. N
  3. E
  4. Y

Correct answer: Y

Solution

The 4th, 6th, 7th, and 11th letters of ORIENTATION are I, T, A, and N. These letters can form more than one meaningful word, so the correct response is Y.
