ExamsIBPS POReasoning

Directions: Read the given information carefully and answer the following question. Six persons Hema, Nina, Keshav, Rani, Sam, and Tabu are sitting in a linear row. They all like different games: Battlefield, Combat, Duty, Free Fire, Minecraft, and Pubg. All of them are facing north. Nina likes Minecraft, and not more than two persons are sitting to the left of Nina. One person sits between Nina and Hema. The person who likes Pubg is sitting immediately to the right of Keshav. The number of persons sitting between Rani and Keshav is one less than the number of persons sitting to the right of Hema. Keshav and the person who likes Pubg are not sitting at the extreme ends. The person who likes Duty is sitting immediately to the right of Sam. Two persons sit between the person who likes Combat and the person who likes Duty. The person who likes Free Fire is not an immediate neighbor of the one who likes Duty. Who will be immediately to the right of the person who likes Minecraft, if Rani takes the place of Keshav, Keshav takes the place of Tabu, and Tabu takes the place of Rani (the game they like remains the same even after rearrangement)?

  1. Tabu
  2. Rani
  3. Sam
  4. Keshav

Correct answer: Rani

Solution

The clues uniquely determine the original seating order and game allocation. After swapping the positions of Rani, Keshav, and Tabu as specified, the person immediately to the right of the one who likes Minecraft is Rani. The game preferences remain unchanged, so only positions are altered.
