Eight persons Bharat, Payal, Sirisha, Dipti, Nancy, Pranay, Jayant and Samuel are sitting in a straight line, not necessarily in the same order. Some people are facing north and some are facing south. Five people sit to the right of Nancy. Three people sit between Nancy and Pranay. Dipti sits second to the right of Pranay. Three people sit between Dipti and Jayant. Payal sits third to the right of Jayant. Payal and Jayant face the same direction. Sirisha sits second to the right of Samuel, who does not sit next to Dipti. Bharat sits to the left of Dipti, and both face opposite directions. Dipti does not face north. Question: Who sits to the immediate right of Nancy?

Solution
Since five people sit to the right of Nancy, Nancy must be at one end of the line. Three people sit between Nancy and Pranay, so Pranay is four places away from Nancy. Using the remaining clues, the arrangement places Payal immediately to the right of Nancy.
