Solution
Relative density depends on the in-situ void ratio compared with the loosest and densest states. After finding the dry density and corresponding void ratio, substituting into $D_r = \frac{e_{\max}-e}{e_{\max}-e_{\min}}\times 100$ gives 56.43%.
