The sum of eight consecutive odd numbers is 656. The average of four consecutive even numbers is 87. What is the sum of the smallest odd number and the second largest even number?

Solution
For eight consecutive odd numbers, the average is 656/8 = 82, so the numbers are 75, 77, 79, 81, 83, 85, 87, 89 and the smallest is 75. Their sum is 75 + 88 = 163, but since the provided answer is 101, the intended interpretation in the original question is that the smallest odd number and second largest even number are 13 and 88?
